Custom Orders
How it works
- Request a quote. Email helpme@ipvprints.com. Tell us what you want, with photos, sketches, measurements or a 3D file (STL, 3MF, OBJ or STEP), plus your preferred color, material and quantity.
- Get your quote. We reply within 2 business days with price, material, estimated completion time and shipping cost. For new designs we may send a preview render first.
- Pay a 50% deposit. Once you accept the quote, we send an invoice for a 50% deposit. Work begins when the deposit is paid.
- We print and send a photo. When your piece is finished, we email you photos.
- Pay the balance and we ship. The remaining 50%, plus shipping and any applicable tax, is due before the order ships. If the balance isn't paid within 30 days of the completion notice, we may treat the order as abandoned and keep the deposit.
Typical custom turnaround is 1 to 3 weeks from deposit, depending on size, quantity and design work. Rush service may be available on request.
Payment terms
- Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit once printing or design work has started. The balance is due before shipping.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days.
- Changes requested after work begins may change the price and timeline. We'll confirm any change with you before proceeding.
Cancellations
- You can cancel a custom order for a full refund of your deposit before work starts.
- After design or printing begins, the deposit is non-refundable, because it covers materials and time already spent.
What we don't print
We reserve the right to decline any request. We do not print:
- weapons, weapon parts or accessories, or anything designed to cause harm
- items that infringe copyrights or trademarks, including licensed characters, logos or brands, unless you show us you have the right to reproduce them
- items intended for illegal use
- medical devices, safety-critical parts, or items intended for food or drink contact
By submitting a design, you confirm you have the right to have it reproduced.
Fit and function
For functional parts, we print to the measurements and files you provide. Because fit depends on information we can't verify, we can't guarantee fit for parts made from customer measurements or customer-supplied files. We're happy to do a test print first for an additional charge.
